The aim of the Cancer Support Group is to provide a friendly support service for cancer patients and their families and carers. If you have been recently diagnosed as having cancer, we invite you to join us at one of our regular, friendly meetings.
We provide information, understanding and encouragement in a relaxed environment.
Our monthly meetings provide:
- An opportunity to express feelings
- Communication & information
- Shared experiences
- Guest speakers
- Advice on how to cope with stress and anxiety
- A better understanding of cancer
- Mutual support
- Telephone contact
The Cancer Support Group Provides an opportunity for persons diagnosed
with cancer and their family to meet for information, discussion
and support.
When: 2nd Thursday of the month from 1.30 - 3pm
Where: Austin Hospital Level 4 Education Centre, 145 Studley

Brain Tumour Support Officer and Support Group
The Brain Tumour Support Group is for people
diagnosed with primary malignant brain tumours; and their carers
or family members. The group meets on the second Wednesday of the
month between 11 and 1 pm.
