Embracing Medical Care and Wellness

A Unique Establishment: Building on a Century of Tradition
 The Olivia Newton-John Cancer Centre will be a dedicated precinct providing a comprehensive range of services and facilities for cancer treatment, education, training and research. It will draw on the substantial range of services already available at Austin Health, in Melbourne.

It will be an international cancer precinct, offering:
  • Compassionate, patient-focused care, which is built on a century-old foundation of caring for patients with cancer.
  • A unique integration of research and clinical programs: with a particular focus on pioneering immune therapies, which are being developed in conjunction with the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research.
  • Extensive collaborations with other local and international cancer centres, academic institutions and industry, in order to create the best opportunities and therapies for cancer patients.

The Centre is a $50 million facility which will bring together all of the superb cancer services of Austin Health in a purpose built centre. It will provide new directions in treatment and set new standards in patient care.
